Romance Of The Three Kingdoms 13 Xbox One
Another part of the popular series of turn-based strategy games with RPG elements, the action of which is set in China, in the Three Kingdoms period, i.e. shortly after the fall of the Han dynasty in the second century BC.
Yea, Romance of the Three Kingdoms is not like Dynasty Warriors, thankfully. Not enough games like RotTK here, especially on XBOX, whereas there's quite a few Dynasty Warriors style games out there. For 30 years, the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series have taken players into the world based on the beloved Chinese novel of the same name; to be a part of one of the most tumultuous times of history and privy to the political machinations between power-hungry factions makes for a perfect strategic experience, especially when each iteration of the.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV is a turn-based strategy game, in which you will also find a lot of RPG elements. In this production we play the role of a leader competing with the tides in the times of the break-up of China (II century BC). This title belongs to one of the oldest strategic cycles in history (the first edition of Romance of the Three Kingdoms appeared in the 80s of the last century). The well-known Koei Tecmo company (authors of, among others, the previous parts) is responsible for its creation and release again.
Plot
The action of the game takes place in the historical period known as the Three Kingdoms period - in the times when China collapsed after the fall of the Han Dynasty. The production draws its full weight from the pages of history, but is also inspired by the various works that describe the period in question, such as the famous Chinese novel Tales of Three Kingdoms.
Mechanics
Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV is a turn-based strategy game in which the gameplay consists of warfare. The whole game - both strategic and tactical - takes place on a single map, divided into divisions (hexagonal areas). We recruit and train troops, as well as their proper equipment and command of soldiers during clashes with opponents. The game puts emphasis on tactics, land use and the unique abilities of each hero. We can also use detailed tactics - e.g. cutting off enemy troops from supplies.
While playing, we also deal with strategy. Our tasks include moving the army around on maps and taking care of supplies and morale. We also conduct diplomacy and manage taken over areas. A lot of importance is attached to various statistics, which describe in detail the world presented and individual elements of the game. The heroes were treated in a similar way - their number is the highest in the history of the series (there are over a thousand different characters). Some will also propose their own ideas.
It is worth noticing, that we need to put our heroes into a specific hierarchy of command - its proper organization will provide us with additional benefits.
Game modes
In Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV we can only play alone. The basis of the game is the single player mode.
With a critically acclaimed soundtrack from Sam Marshall and stunning visual design, ‘Entwined™ Challenge’ will draw you into a unique sense of gaming. Experience a tale about a bird and a fish that are in love but can never be together. Guide them both simultaneously over the course of nine unique. Entwined book. Entwined together now. It's time to pass it over. And you take me over. How can I live on and on.
